3 weeks and growing

Our little guy is over 3 weeks old now and how fast the time has been going. Mommy has now had over a week on her own during the day. We have had some adventures out and most of them with minimal meltdowns. We are just loving watching him grow. Thanks to everyone who has come to hang out with us too. Our next big adventure is moving out of our apartment and to Chilliwack before our big move to Australia.

Week two...and gaining weight

The first few days were definitely an adjustment as we were figuring out feedings, burping, and just plain adjusting. But now into week 2, a few calls to the newborn helpline and doctor/nurses appointment, we are in full swing of parenthood and loving every minute of it. We've even had a few adventurous outings. Our little string-bean (because he is just so lanky) has turned the corning and gaining weight.

The first look at Logan Robert Josef Nitschke

On August 1st at 2:35 am we welcomed Logan Robert Josef Nitschke to the world. It was a long 30 hours of labour, drug free and he was well worth the wait. Here are a few shots from his first days of life. No bias here of course, but he is the most beautiful baby ever.
