Soccer Star

We started soccer lessons a couple of weeks ago and Logan is crazy about it. We walk into the gym and there are little soccer balls everywhere and he starts running around, throwing and kicking the balls. He's so cute. Today was the first day we tried on the "official" uniform for Soccer Time Kids. It did not go over well at first, I think the material was a bit weird for him. But he got used to it pretty fast and then we were off to another fun lesson. However, today I think I got as much exercise as he did as he was a bit defiant going off in all different directions instead of listening to coach -- my little monkey!

Escape Artist

This little man did not want to nap on this particular day. After playing, and talking, screaming and crying he tried a new tactic -- trying to escape his crib. He did not succeed this time, but I'm sure we are not too far away.

At the Children's Farm

Every 2nd Saturday of the month the Collingwood Children's Farm has a Farmers Market, which has been a great find. A beautiful 22 degree day, lots of fresh fruits and veggies, yummy cheese, food stalls, coffee, organic juices. What more could one ask for? Children's entertainment -- and today they had this mariachi guy. He was fantastic, played some classic Mexican songs and then some children's songs. He had musical instruments for the kids to play. Fun for all.

Dad's been teaching Logan to play with a hockey stick and puck. This apple and boomerang seem to resemble the puck and stick and did in a pinch.

And after so much fun at the market, we went and visited the animals. Logan's favorite was this cute goat that just loved eating grass from Logan's hand. Logan's favorite part was ripping the grass out to feed it to him :)

Logan just thinks it's the funniest thing when one of us is in the bathroom and we stick our fingers underneath. He just laughs and laughs and tries to chase our fingers. It really is too cute for words.

Getting Logan started early on chores, and it is something he absolutely LOVES to do...sweeping, and loading the washing machine!

mmmm...watermelon

There is nothing better on a hot day that a nice slice of watermelon. However, this little man thinks that one slice might not be enough. No, this little man is working a whole quarter of a melon...and by looks of it, succeeding :)
