Santa in Summer

What better to do in 39 degree weather than visit Santa Claus? I know, it sounds absolutely crazy, doesn't it? Well, we have to go visit Santa for Logan's first year and since it was the hottest day, it sounded perfect -- it was air conditioned. I wasn't sure how Logan was going to do since he had his immunization shots the day before and he was a bit cranky now and again. But, I think he faired very well.

Carols by Candlelight

We had our first family evening out. We went to the local park where they were holding "Carols by Candlelight". It was put on by the community and had a few choirs singing and then everyone with candles in hand sang some old time classics. How did Logan do, considering bedtime is 8pm and this event went from 6-10pm. He was a rockstar!

After Logan fell asleep, mom and dad spent some quality time singing those carols by beautiful candlelight. All and all, a successful evening. Next adventure, New Zealand.

We knew it was only a matter of time before it happened. Logan is now a big toe sucker -- tasty!

Snotty weekend

Last weekend we had huge intentions to go away for an overnighter. However, the little guy came down with a runny nose, so instead we stayed at home and cuddled with our little man and helped him ease his discomfort. But, despite the snot, we had a lot of cute little moments.

We caught some great moments on video this weekend.

1. Rolling over, YEAH!!! Logan rolled over (back to tummy) on his own and I actually saw him do it this time.

Logan - 4 months

Logan has hit 13 lbs, yippee!!! This little guy has had a growth spurt this last month and that's not all. He is trying with all his might to sit. He has lost interest in rolling, although there is the rare attempt. But, he loves to sit and takes every opportunity to try and get there. He constantly wants to be pulled up and tries to lift himself up. In one month he will definitely be sitting on his own.

Ready for the beach

With our Christmas in New Zealand trip approaching quickly, we decided to get Loggie a body suit for swimming. The UV in this part of the world is very bad due to the lack of ozone. We had a little fashion show, and doesn't he look sharp?
