Too cute

We had the last day of a a great term one of soccer. Now that Alena is sitting on her own, albeit with a supportive hand close by, I plunked her down with big brother Logan during the trophy ceremony.

Logan loves his little sis.

It gets me every time how much they look alike, especially in their profiles.

Lots of sibling cuddles, although Lena seems a bit unsure by Logan's squeeze

Love the swings

We love our afternoons at the park, and now that Alena is a bit bigger, she can partake in some park fun too. Park fun starts with the swings. First time on them and she loves it. Lots of laughing and smiles. It was adorable. So it is great to be able to have them both going at the same time. Although, at dramatically different speeds, of coure.

All smiles

Logan even likes to give her gentle pushes. She is still figuring out if she is okay with that.

Book worms

Once every three weeks we go to the library (or we would have over due books) It was a bit difficult at first as all Logan would do is run up and down the ramp and I would quickly take some books that I hope that he would be interested in. But, lately he wants to look and pick out the books he will be relishing over the coming three weeks. So, we squish into the bean bag chairs and the childrens section and preview what books will be coming home with us.

Even Lena is starting to get into the action

Another trip to the zoo

Another great expedition to the zoo. It was the perfect day, some dark clouds looming in the sky but the rain held off. But the best thing about it was that it seemed like it was only us and the animals. This Wallaby was even nice enough to let the kids give him a little pat.

One of the favorite stops. Our cheeky monkeys with the cheeky monkeys.

Not enough room for everyone, but that's okay. Logan was more interested in the police helicopter flying overhead.

Footy star

We all know that this kid is going to be an althete. I am still in amazement with how he kicks the ball. He practically nails it everytime.

Look who is sitting

Yeah, we are so excited, and so is she. Life is so much more exciting now that Lena can sit, although she is still very wobbly. Now she is trying to sit up all the time, time to start pilates. :)

She can now play with all the cool toys, she loves banging on the little piano and will make music for hours (okay, maybe more like minutes)

Two peas in a pod

These two are becoming closer and closer every day, it really is adorable. Logan makes sure that Alena comes with us everywhere. When we leave her in Creche, he makes sure that I know that I have left her there and we will get her back after swimming. Even when she has fallen asleep and I have put her in bed, he ask where she has gone. Alena loves Logan. As soon as he enters the room she looks at him and follows him around with her eyes. She laughs all the time, but most of her laughs are generated by her big brother making funny faces and giving her kisses. It is truly a beautiful relationship growing and I love watching it.
