Great Easter weekend

We had such a great family Easter weekend. Craig was lucky to have five days off in a row. Here are some of the highlights of the funny bunny weekend.

Now, I will fully admit, I am not one for crafting, although I wish I was. However, egg decorating, I am all for that. Logan was so good at it this year, doing most of it all on his own

using the crayon to get his designs

Dipping into the vibrant colours, his favorite part.

And voila, a beautiful Easter basket ready and waiting for the Easter Bunny.

Then, onto baking Easter cookies with my masterchef. I could not resist the apron and hat when I saw it in the store the other day, and surprisingly, he thought it was pretty cool too.

As the chef's say, make sure your dish tastes great.

Now unfortunately I did not take pictures of the final product and they are all gone now. They were certainly yummy our little egg and bunny cookies.

For weeks now Logan has seen chocolate bunnies in the store and that is all he had been talking about, wanting chocolate bunnies. I kept saying that maybe the Easter Bunny will bring you one if you are a good little boy. And on Sunday, the Easter Bunny came and Logan exploded with excitement when he saw the bunny prints leading to a basket with chocolate eggs and of course, not one but TWO chocolate bunnies.

Starting on the ears!!!

One happy, chocolate covered Logan!

On Monday, the Easter Bunny came again and left little eggs all over our backyard. We were lucky to have a couple of Logan's little friends come over and help collect all the little goodies.

Growing Up

This was Alena, 2 days old and heading home in the car. So tiny, small adorable!

7 months old and it is time for an upgrade and she is ready. So big, and still so adorable!

She's pretty excited about it.
