Day at Daylesford

With this gorgeous spring weather of 30 degrees, we decided to do a day trip to gorgeous Daylesford. We met with good friends Nina and Julio and had a delicious, yet rather pricey, not really getting your money's worth lunch on Daylesford Lake. Our little miss wanted to join the party at the table.

Ok, such a gorgeous shot by Nina and Julio!

All Smiles this little one.

Having cuddles with Nana

And getting more cuddles from Nina.

Then we took a lovely walk around the lake. And Logan part took in one of his favorite past times, throwing rocks into water.

"Hey, these rocks are a bit bigger, but I am sure we could throw them into the water too Dad"

Some gorgeous yellow blossoms along our walk.

If you look really close, you can actually Logan and Craig on the dock way ahead of us.

The rest of us finally caught up.

Little miss slept most of the way.

Blowing dandelion seeds -- spreading the weed!

The men folk doing some tree climbing.

After a great day, this little man was knackered!

This little miss on the other hand was ready to party. :)

Summer has arrived...

...and someone is ready.

Now I never thought I would be one for girly baby fashion, but I have to admit, I am loving dressing up my little miss in really cute, girly outfits.

Alena - 6 weeks and full of smiles

6 weeks have sure gone fast and our once, sleeps all the time little miss now is awake a lot more. As it takes a bit to get her down for a sleep. But once she is down she is a fantastic sleeper. We are even getting about 7 hours at night. No one is complaining here.

Like Logan, Alena has some amazing eyes. Logan has those stunning baby blues that grabbed you. Lena has these shiny, big eyes that just reach your soul.

Starting to blow bubbles.

...And, smiles!

Mini Holiday to Healseville

We had a week between Craig's parents departure and my mom's arrival. Craig took his week of parental leave and what better thing to do than hit the road. We decided to take a mini vacation to Healsville.

Logan practicing his cheeses while waiting for Dad to fill up the car with fuel.

Two patiently waiting kids to hit the road.

We stayed at the Sanctuary cottages, which let me tell you so great for families. Big grassy area to run around, playground, a lake that you can actually go fishing in (Craig tried once and was not successful) Even some very friendly goats to feed on the property.

And Lena just enjoyed hanging out.

Enjoying the warm morning sun

My cheeky monkey

Some sibling love

My beautiful little girl.

Went to the sanctuary and Logan loved the bouncy thing there. I think Dad enjoyed it too :)

Feeding Frank, the goat at the cottages.

We then went to the Hegend Maze. Also great for kids. There are the mazes, frizbee golf and mini golf.

Logan's first attempt and frizbeeing. He has some natural talent...but I think it is because he loves to throw things.

But the highlight for Logan was the mini golf. We played 3 rounds of golf, and for a 2 year old, he had some skill.

And to finish of the day, a fan favorite --- a babycino.

"Cheese"

We have been practicing our "cheese" and smiling for the camera. However, Logan has a hard time standing still while saying cheese. Even though they are blurry, he sure is a cutie.

Alena - one month

It is hard to believe that Lena is already one month old. Where did the time go. With Logan, one month went a lot slower. Maybe because it was all new, or maybe it was because I didn't have a toddler to chase down. Our little one is growing like a weed. She is a good little eater and a relatively good sleeper. She actually will do 5-6 hour stretches at night. However, her sleep usually starts an hour or two before I do :) Here are some pics from her 1 month bday.

Big yawn after some milk.

But now I want more milk, mum.

She has some big blue eyes, like Logan.

She is actually starting to fit into some of Logan's clothes. One monthers versus newborn size. Growing like a week this one.

Love this shot.

Is that a little smile? Or just gas?
