When it rains....

The weather lately hasn't been the nicest, so when it clear up instead of the park we do puddle jumping. This particular afternoon I was a bit weary as there were some dark clouds looming, but I had told him before his nap we would go and like the previous blog entry, if you say you are going to do it, you better do it.

This little man was raring to go!

However, once we hit puddle alley, as I call it, the dark clouds had hit with a vengeance. Not a little mist or sprinkle, torrential down pour. So puddle alley had turned into river lane.

But Logan was LOVIN' it.
We lasted about 10 minutes and once I was soaking wet we ran home. We were soaked, but it was still pretty fun. Logan's boots were literally half full of water.

So, we stripped off those clothes quickly...

and got all cuddle warm....hey, I think those are my slippers...little thief :)

Choc-o-brow

This kid loves his babychinos.

If you say it, you better do it.

If you tell Logan we are going to see the ducks tomorrow, you better take him to see the ducks. He WILL remember. To walk to the ducks is about 40 minutes and I usually do a stop at the shopping centre to pick up a few things. Pretty much the entire time Logan was saying "duck, duck, duck" And then at the store it turned into "duck, DUCK, DUUUUUUUUUUUCKK!!" So, you can see, he is pretty set on seeing the ducks. All that for about a 5 minute bread feeding frenzy.

more bread please, mom!

Hehehe, duck!

And as the feeding frenzy is over Logan will say "bye duck"

Then it is time to play in the park. Collecting some leaves, my little Canadian!

And then Logan's favorite activity, ball play. Could this be a happier boy?

Strike a pose.

A mother's day outing

We decided that this mother's day we were going to take advantage of the nice morning and head to the outskirts of Melbourne for a "hike". Destination -- Hanging Rocks. This little man was ready to rock and roll.

Checking out tree rings with Dad

I think we were checking out some really big rocks -- as Logan would say "whoa"!

A rare family shot

Standing on top of the worlddddddddddddddddd!!!!

I have to say, I think this was the shot of the day. I absolutely love this pic of Logan and Dad.

Logan's first attempt and scaling rocks.

Finally, Easter Posts

We started off our Easter journey with some baking. I have to say that Logan is becoming quite a little chef already. Most of the ingredients actually end up in the bowl these days. And when it comes to rolling out cookies, playing with the flour is one of his favorite parts.

Ta da!!! The results. Bunny and egg cookies. Pretty proud of these ones, we've come along way from the gingerbread at Christmas.

Then, on to painting the eggs. Tried the crayon colouring and then the dunk into the dye. Logan lasted about 10 minutes (that's pretty good actually). But I think he stayed there because he was actually eating one of the eggs. Craig, with lots of groaning about doing this activity in the first place, had a fantastic time.

Ta da... the final result... Logan's Easter basket.

First taste of chocolate eggs. Yup, someone likes it :)
