First Hair Cut

Logan has beautiful hair, it is fine, but beautiful. It has taken me a long time to accept that it had to be cut one day. But after realizing it was starting to look like a mullet in the back, wings at the side and he was brushing it out of his eyes I decided it was time to cut the baby locks.

There was no way I was taking sharp scissors to my little man's head, so I tracked down one of the few children's hair cutting shops. We made it a big family outting so that Dad could hold him down if need be so I could take pictures. We started well. A cut little car for Logan to drive and "Bob the Builder" on the TV in front of him. He was distracted.


Just a little off the top please...


This was going WAY better than I expected. He is such a good little boy.


And now, Logan is ready to sport his new doo in style. He really is starting to look like a little boy now.

    He's a big kid now!
    The place you took him looks just like the one we went to. They gave us a lock of hair AND they laminated it onto a card! Did you keep some, too?

    Yeah, I have some hair, not laminated though. That would have been a great idea. He is getting to be such a big boy now, it's kind of scary! We should catch up soon :)
